Fall ball 2025 registration is open!

Registration for our 2025 fall ball season is now OPEN for baseball and softball!

Our fall ball program offers a less formal, lower stakes season than our "main" spring league where the emphasis is on skill-building in preparation for next year. Parents thinking about moving their kid up a level next year are encouraged to give it a try during the fall ball season to see what it's like. Kids wanting to try new positions (for example, pitcher) are given the opportunity to do so. As always, the focus remains on making sure the kids are having fun.

The divisions open to registration for fall ball this year for both baseball and softball are:

* Minors (coach pitch), 6-9 yrs old (age as of August 31, 2026)
* Minors (kid pitch) + Majors (kid pitch) together: 9-12 yrs old (age as of August 31, 2026)

Parents can expect scrimmages or practices 1-2 times per week from early/mid-September through the end of October if weather cooperates. We are aiming to start the week of September 8 but that is subject to change. The Minors Kid Pitch + Majors baseball division will meet Wednesdays for scrimmages (numbers permitting) and Fridays for practices, locations TBD. The Minors Kid Pitch + Majors softball division will meet Wednesdays as well. Coach pitch day and time for both baseball and softball is still TBD pending coach availability.

If you are unsure of what division to sign up your kid for, refer to the official Little League Age Chart for help or contact us at the above email address. Players may be moved between divisions based upon league discretion.

Mountain Valley Little League is Little League-affiliated baseball and softball for kids that live within the Onteora Central School District boundary. This includes, primarily, the towns of Woodstock, Olive, Hurley, and Shandaken.
